Marijuana: Genetic Vulnerability
Scientists have found that whether a person has positive or negative feelings later than smoking marijuana can be controlled by heredity. A 1997 research showed that the same male twins were more probable than nonidentical male twins to report comparable answers to marijuana abuse, demonstrating a genetic basis for their reply to the drug. (Equal twins share all of their genes.)
It as well was found out that the twins' shared or family environment previous to age 18 had no visible manipulate on their answer to marijuana. Definite environmental aspects, on the other hand, for example the availability of marijuana, anticipations about how the drug would influence them, the influence of friends and social contacts, and other things that distinguish experiences of identical twins were found to have a significant outcome.
